Did you know… the Traffic Division supports over 8,500 Signs throughout the City of Myrtle Beach which provide directions, warnings, traffic control, information, regulations, destinations, and recreational points of interest as well as 28 Local and 50 SCDOT Traffic signals.
Did you know … the Water Division services over 20,000 Water Meters both Residential and Commercial, more than 21,000 linear feet of Water Lines, 26,000 Water Hydrants, 16 Water Tanks and numerous Water Valves and City Backflow devices.
Did you know…In subdivisions developed since the 1990’s, upon completion of a new single family home, the builder is responsible for grading the lot to direct storm water runoff to a common drainage system for the neighborhood. The common drainage system can consist of swales (shallow ditches), drainage pipes and ponds.
