What about Drop-Off Programs?

The City has provided curbside recycling service for years to its customers.  Participation in this program has continued to increase.  Over the last couple of years, this program has been expanded to try and divert even more materials from disposal.  Now residents can drop materials off for recycling and disposal at the City’s transfer station on Fridays between 7am and 3pm.

Where can I Drop-Off Recycling?

The City’s transfer station is located at 3221 Mr. Joe White Ave. The facility provides new opportunities for recycling clean segregated materials as a part of our waste diversion program to help reduce the amount of materials being sent to the landfill.

What can I drop off?

All of these items can be recycled Monday through Friday between 7am and 3pm by City residents. People from outside the City can bring these items on Friday’s between 7am and 3pm.  Tipping fees will be charged for the wood materials. In addition to the expanded recycling on-site at the transfer station, the City continues to provide co-mingled recycling drop-off outside the front gate of the transfer station 24-7.

Where is the Transfer Station?
