Pump Mechanics/Electrical Crew
The crew maintains all sewer-pumping stations to assure the stations are operating efficiently. The crew exercises sewer valves and diverts sewer flows when issues arise. Crewmembers are mechanically proficient and dedicated to protecting the environment from sewer discharges.
Sewer line Maintenance crew
The sewer line maintenance crew operates large sewer cleaning trucks and camera system. The crew cleans, inspects and smoke tests all gravity sewer lines. The crew clears sewer stoppages and helps determine if sewer issues are the city’s responsibility or the customer’s responsibility. The crew expertly handles sewer emergencies and routinely assists other departments.
Construction Crew
The construction crew is responsible for all sewer line, cleanouts and manhole repairs. The crew installs new sewer services and performs many other water and sewer related tasks as needed. The crew consists of skilled equipment operations and knowledgeable repair technicians. The construction crew are first responders to after hour emergencies and work as long as it takes to restore water and sewer service in a timely and safe manner.
Tradesman
The tradesman is a two-person crew responsible for keeping the pump station sites and sewer right of ways looking attractive. The crew cuts grass, landscapes, and performs minor building repairs.
Utility Systems Coordinator
The Utility Systems Coordinator is responsible for collecting and analyzing data for sewer, water, and stormwater, giving the team a clearer picture of the system needs today and far into the future.
